Escape to Loch Lomond Arch

A short distance from the southern tip of Loch Lomond, you will find Loch Lomond Arch. The Arch is a stunning, private two person oval shaped wooden house overlooking a mature, magical garden, lit by thousands of lights all year round. Unlike any wooden garden house you have ever seen before, the Arch is cosy and luxurious indoors, and just as welcoming outdoors with its comfortable seating, toasty wood burning stove and mood lighting. The room is made up with a kingsize bed, or two single beds at your request, and it has an ensuite shower and toilet. It has wi-fi, and a Bluetooth speaker to accommodate your favourite playlists. A light and healthy breakfast is provided, with tea and coffee (Nespresso), and you also have a microwave, small fridge, kettle and toaster. On the private decking close to the outdoor ‘living room’ is your secluded outdoor jacuzzi bath, and a couple of steps down is your private BBQ Area with dining table and chairs.

Loch Lomond Arch is a the perfect romantic getaway for two, with candles, twinkling night time lights, and lots of luxurious touches for a lovely stay. A night for friends, lovers, family, or a fun night away in a quirky space with your child. Your dog will enjoy the break too!

The Space

The Arch is a solidly built wooden garden home, well heated and insulated, with all you might expect of a good quality hotel room. It is built on a large deck accessible via a couple of steps. The deck is a private area for the use of Arch guests only, and it has all the comforts of a home under the sun or stars. Watch the garden light up as the sun goes down with tens of thousands of twinkly lights in the trees and on the pathways.

Guest Access

The Car Park is at the side of the house at the Loch Lomond Hideaways sign. The house is on the outskirts of the village of Croftamie, just a short walk away, and a couple of minutes drive from the larger village of Drymen, with shops, traditional pubs, restaurants, etc. Loch Lomond is a further short drive to Balmaha on the east shore or Balloch on the south west. And we are only 45 minutes by car from Glasgow city centre or Glasgow International Airport.

Walkers and cyclists are spoilt for choice with the John Muir Way passing the front door, and the West Highland Way at the other side of the village. Of course you don’t need to take on either of those in full, with easily accessible sections being a more leisurely way to enjoy them, or any of the other trails.
